About Me

Hi, I’m Andrea, and I’m the founder of Panda’s Play. With 2 young children of my own and over 14 years of experience as a qualified teacher, mostly in Reception classrooms, I’ve seen first-hand how important the early years are in shaping a child’s learning journey. That’s why I’ve created a space where both parents and children can explore, learn, and grow—through the power of play.

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that early learning should be fun, engaging, and rooted in quality time with your child. Our sessions are designed around the Early Years Curriculum, combining expert knowledge with the joy of play-based learning. It’s not just about learning new skills; it’s about having fun together, exploring new things, and creating special memories that will last.

My goal is to help children develop the confidence and skills they need for the future, while empowering parents to enjoy the journey and feel confident in supporting their child’s growth at home. Every session is a chance to bond, play, and experience the magic of early childhood development in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to sharing this exciting adventure with you and your little one!

What to expect when you attend a session

What does a Panda's Play session look like?

Hello circle time- Panda’s Play welcome song and introduction to the session’s theme, including some tips for purposeful play.

Exploration time- enjoy an hour of exploring the activities and resources set up for play. Engage with your child, have 5 minutes to yourself while we support their play or let them explore independently for a while. There will always be an activity which allows your child to make something to take home with them and a fruit station so they can fuel up for more fun. We are on hand for a chat, support or to answer any questions you might have during the session.

Tidy up time song- work together to pop the resources back in their place.

Goodbye circle time- Nursery rhyme time and Panda’s Play goodbye.
